Feeding your dog real, nutritious food is essential for their overall health and well-being. Just like humans, dogs thrive on a balanced diet made from high-quality, natural ingredients.
Real food provides your dog with vital nutrients such as proteins, vitamins and healthy fats that support everything from a shiny coat to strong muscles and healthy digestion.
Our ethically sourced, human-grade meals help prevent allergies, improve energy levels, and promote longevity, ensuring your dog lives a happier, healthier life.

Introducing raw feeding to dogs should be done gradually to allow their digestive systems to adjust. A slow transition over (about 2 weeks) is recommended when introducing raw food to your dog. For the first few days, start by adding small amounts of raw food while removing small amounts of their old diet, about 20% consisting of raw food and 80% consisting of their old diet. Then, continue to increase the amount of the raw food portion by 20% while decreasing the old diet every few days until you are feeding 100% raw food.
Vets are brilliant at what they do, but a lot of the food on the shelf at the clinic is there through supply and rebate arrangements with the manufacturer, not because it's necessarily the best nutritional option for your dog. It's not anyone doing the wrong thing — it's just not the full story. We're here to fill in the rest of it.

Our Kill-Step: Raw, Done Properly
Raw feeding can carry a potential bacterial risk and that's a fair concern when feeding raw.
We dont shy away from this. and that's why every batch of our raw product goes through a freezing process down to -20°C before it reaches you. This is a recognised kill-step stop that mitigates the bacterial risk associated with raw feeding. It's the difference between "raw" and "raw, done properly" — and it's at the heart of how we do business.
The one question that comes up often is how much raw food should be given to dogs.
Here is a guide based on the weight of your dog to help with how much you should be feeding.

These are starting portions for an average adult dog — split across two meals a day and adjust for activity, age and body condition. Puppies, working dogs and seniors will differ. Not sure? Ask our team in-store at Kirrawee and we'll dial it in for your pup.
Store in freezer, defrost in fridge. To be consumed within three days once defrosted. Given there are no preservatives or additives in this food, it will go off, like real meat should.
